PTAF [Audio] Hol Up

photo ptafpic_zpsffe483c7.jpg (Los Angeles, CA) - After finding success with their hit song, "Boss Ass Bitch," Los Angeles-based female Hip-Hop trio, P.T.A.F. (Pretty Taking All Fades), is back again. Rejuvenated and with more music to show the world that they are not just a Vine and YouTube sensation, P.T.A.F. has been steady at work recording new material. While the trio appreciates the platforms that Vine and YouTube have provided for the group, P.T.A.F. is proving they are more than a one hit wonder, or social media anomaly. By following up their success with a fresh new single called, "Hol Up," P.T.A.F. looks to solidify their place amongst the fast rising stars of the West-Coast and other female emcees that have paved the way for their movement and widespread acceptance. One such female rapper is Nicki Minaj who jumped on the remix of "Boss Ass Bitch" trying her hand at flowing over the boom-bap heavy beat, reminiscent of Hip-Hop's early days. Although the girls are proud of their success with Nicki Minaj, they are not yet content despite generating over 20 million views with their song "Boss Ass Bitch." This trio of friends is hungry and they expect to repeat with another catchy single that also shows off their lyrical ability and connection to the streets of Los Angeles' Crenshaw District in South Central-LA where they were raised. Having released "Hol Up, "You Playin", "Boss Ass Bitch" and "Fly Shit Only" the girls are in a groove with respect to writing and recording new material for their EP 3 The Hard Way, which is set to release October 27th, 2014. In addition to rapping the girls have played a roll in co-producing while also rapping, as Kandii co-produced "Boss Ass Bitch." In addition, several songs were produced by KC of Handlebar Muzik and Mayhem. Kandii, K-Ducey, and Alizé met at Crenshaw High School in Los Angeles, California, and the trio have been friends since. In 2012, Pretty Taking All Fades was formed by the three, and it was their creative way of expressing themselves. While the three women are pretty, they can and will defend themselves, thus the name P.T.A.F. "Some people might have easy lives, we don't have hard lives, but the environment we grew up in is sometimes violent. Where we come from if you're not real, you're gonna get put on spot." Kandy said of her Crenshaw neighborhood. Keeping that perspective the girls are fully aware of their environment and how their music can influence other young girls and listeners of Hip-Hop. As such, the group vows to make positive music that helps keep their fans on the right path. "Our goal has always been to motivate and to influence people on a more positive level, so right now our focus is to show kids and our fans that there's so much more out there in the world than they may realize," Kandy said. The trio is heavily influenced by the West Coast music, but the group also draws inspiration from their friends, family and each other, pulling ideas from their fun loving times together. In their spare time, the trio is known to crack jokes, and freestyle just for fun while hanging out. "We crack jokes, we be having everybody laughing, If we not cracking jokes, we just tryna freestyle" K-Ducey said. "Once we get a title and a concept we really start to have fun with the song. Now that we've had the success with 'Boss Ass Bitch' we're just looking to keep making better music being inspired by our fans, our family and each other," Kandy added. In addition to their new song, the girls have also launched a P.T.A.F. Official app via iTunes that allows fans to keep up with everything P.T.A.F.. From their new contest to the release of new material and more, fans of P.T.A.F. can stay updated on anything that the girls are working on. The app, PTAF Official, is the official mobile app for Pretty Taking All Fades. Those interested in the app can find it here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ptaf-official/id894460852?mt=8 Fans of the girls music can also find P.T.A.F. on the road at with So California High School Tour this October, November and December. Their tour is highlighted by an appearance at the Faded Lifestyles Custom Car and Bike Show Concert on November 16th culminating with their 3 The Hard Way EP release event October 30th, 2014 at The Attic in Hollywood.

Z RO " THE CROWN " PRODUCED BY MR LEE

(Houston, TX) - Z-Ro aka The Mo City Don has teamed up with famed Texas producer Mr. Lee for their project, The Crown, now available via iTunes, Amazon and other digital retailers. The project is a collaborative effort between Z-Ro and Mr. Lee, who produced the whole album in its entirety. The project also has a Swisha House Remix by Mike "5000" Watts which is available on LiveMixtapes.com. "I just want to shed some positive light on this project," Mr. Lee said. "I have all the respect in the world for Z-Ro and I know his fans will continue to respond to the release of his new music. It was a no brainer for us to work together on this project and finally release it the right way. This is classic Z-Ro, we didn't need any features really, his lyrics stand alone and I'm sure his fans will hear that." While this effort hasn't had the major label push of previous efforts by Z-Ro, the stream of the project had over 26,000 plays on AudioMack in the first week and received positive reviews from The Houston Press, TrapsNTrunks, DirtyGloveBastard, CountryRapTunes. Althogh Mr. Lee is often reserved and behind the scenes, his catalog and production credits are as loud as they come having produced a slew of hits for rappers in the south during the 90's and 2000's, including work with Scarface, UGK, Tupac and The Outlawz, Mary J Blidge Slim Thug. Mr. Lee Production Credits: ("Get Throwed" by Bun B ft Pimp C, Jeezy and Z-Ro; "Sex Faces," "My Homies," by Scarface; Outlawz ft Tupac "Black Jesus"; Mary J Blidge - "Its On"; Slim Thug - "3 Kings" ft T.I. & Bun B; Trae the Truth ft Lil Wayne "Screwed Up"; Slim Thug - "Thug")

Anami Vice [Video] Duck Goose

Anami will be releasing digital singles accompanied by teaser/performance/personality clips and music videos alongside of them in the next 3-4 months. These singles are all written, recorded, and produced by Anami himself and are a mix of Club style tracks, old school Hip-hop, new school Hip-hop, and Pop-like hooks. As well as releasing this material we are in the beginning stages of planning a western-Canada tour with Cam Hunter from Down With Webster, and are also hoping to do a headlining western-U.S. Tour in September with the support of a college radio campaign. Anami has gained a decent following through opportunities like opening for Marianas Trench on their cross-Canada arena tour, and we're hoping to expand on that by focusing more on the Hip-hop fan-base/culture (which is where online blogs come into play) and cultivating dedicated fans there. Recently he has opened for Hoodie Allen in Vancouver, T. Mills in Vancouver and Toronto, and SonReal in Toronto. Anami has a very well-rounded team consisting of The Agency Group representation, and 604 Records as a home label.

6FO [Audio] Bout My PayPuh

(New Brunswick, New Jersey) - Bred on the rough streets of the East Coast, and nestled in between Philly and NYC, a soon to be star named 6FO has emerged from the concrete rubble and chaos known as Central Jersey. Coming off a brief hiatus after personal challenges like the well documented shooting of his close friend and collaborator E-9 (via Hip-HopDX), as well as the birth of his son, New Brunswick, NJ rapper 6FO is ready to make the push to the next level in his career. While 6FO is still gaining new fans and attention from the blogs, some Hip-Hop fans and media know 6FO from his XXL The Break feature in 2011 as well is his song "M.O.N.E.Y." which featured Waka Flocka. "Jersey is a hard place to come up from. Being surrounded by Philly and NYC our identity gets hidden sometimes since we don't have our own radio station for hip-hop. To see 24 years out here is a huge achievement, this is the survival of the strongest and the hustlers. You have to use your brain and wit to live a long life out here," 6FO explained. "I'm street savvy and well respected, and I'm not glorifying the madness and chaos of the streets, but I've found a way to navigate through the struggle." The song "Bout My PayPuh" speaks of the adversity that many people in the struggle can relate to; losing a close friend, family members facing health issues and finding a way to provide for your family. 6FO plans to bring it home in the coming weeks as he will be releasing visuals filmed in his ancestral home of Ghana. Viewers can expect raw visuals that showcase the struggles of people on the other side of the Atlantic and provide a rugged backdrop for the struggle that 6FO represents. "Representing the struggle is typical, but for it to be really heartfelt and to connect with fans I decided to take it to the hood in Ghana, where people can really see and understand the struggle of a whole other type," 6FO said. "This time around I'm trying to give it my all, this is my passion, I can't let E-9 die in vain, I gotta keep my brother's name alive. I flew to a whole other country and shot this video. I'm leaving the porch for a better way, I'm trying to get there man I'm trying to make it."

J Spoolz [Video] Walter White

(Bakersfield, California) With a host of tracks under his belt that have bubbled online and across radio airwaves, Pittsburgh, PA bred and California based rapper J-Spoolz unleashes his newest track "Walter White" inspired by the hit TV show Breaking Bad. The single has already caught on with Sirius/XM Radio on Eminem's Shade 45 station, and it has also picked up in smaller markets out west like in Bakersfield with the highly acclaimed Baka Boyz. "The Walter White track was inspired by how I felt when my back was against the wall in this music game. Walter's reaction to his cancer diagnosis and his boring regular life is something I think we all can relate to. I had the same awakening with my state of mind. It was kind of like I felt like I was going to do whatever it takes to get what I wanted. By any means necessary." Look out for J-Spoolz self titled EP set to hit iTunes this Summer with the singles "Smokin Good," ft Wiz Khalifa,"Life of the Party" and the production of Grammy Award winning producers the Nasty Beatmakers.
